Default VFTs

How is everyone`s VFT doing ?

Mine have all dwindled down to one young VFT ( abt 4cm across ) & several tiny ones ( less than 0.5 cm ) ..... used to have HUGE giant ones heheh. Care during dormancy isn`t easy so I`ve lost a lot of precious rare ones. What has survived are the ones which I propagated from plantlets. )

Nevetheless they remain my fav CPs. Hopefully getting some new stock from Triffid Park Melb soon.

Here's one of my two different VFT clones (I'm not into them). This is the mother plant...has went through a year and a half without any dormancy. Can't figure out whether it needs to sleep or not!

Same here. Pests, negligence, and mistakes.
Reduced to only 1 medium sized plant.
Hope to restart with better experience...
Any GP in plan?

jimmy: try putting some salted fish in the grass / garden + put your VFTs next to it... see if it attract flies for them to catch. it may take a while.

last time i used to catch flies to feed them. use a fine fish net to catch them flies. :O)

once a month or every 2-3 weeks is already often enuff to feed them.

sundews : position of the sundews ? i notice my sundews + pings which are placed in a semi-sunny corner with less wind tend to catch more insects. which sundews btw ?
