Try letting the upper tendril grab onto something, it'll most probably form pitchers.

Don't think x bauensis's pitcher will be anywhere close to northinana's pitcher size in the wild (I could be wrong) because most often then not, hybrids of gracilis will...

According to the article, it should be open to public in June 2011 but at this stage, it's still not fully completed. It'll take probably 1 year and half for it to be fully completed.

I think Kevyn must already got N. northiana ... *biggrin2* He's looking for excuses to get more new neps... *biggrin2*

I would say N. x bauensis is much easier to grow if compared to pure N....

However, I think of all the natural hybrids of N. gracilis (as much as I managed to collect), this is probably the most finicky N. gracilis hybrid... likely a trait...

Wah... I was having a house cleaning before CNY earlier this year... trimmed and threw away lots of vining neps... Was thinking of giving it away but I really got no time to organize it....

Thanks Kenneth. For me, (vent x sibu) x truncata is growing steadily, I guess anything with (vent x sibu) should be quite adaptable to our LL tropical weather but this doesn't mean every seed grown...

Kevyn, not sure why N. truncata x ephippiata's rib wasn't so pronounce. I also hardly notice there's any pitcher ribs on the previous pitchers... :confused:

I expected the hybrids with veitchii will be tougher and slower, it's their nature (both HL and LL variety). If veitchiis were so...
