Ahhh, x Carbarup has a pink flower, while Badgerup has white flower.

BTW Badgerup is extinct in the wild and only found in cultivation.

There was a bushfire through there last year which clear alot of the vegetation. The Drosera and orchid benfit from the ash as well. It best i seen at that location in 10 years.

Can take sarra seed up to a year to germinate. Vft seeds are easy to germinate and normally take 3 to 4 years to reach maturity.

You know this topic is leading into the field of hydroponic. Basically hydroponic is soiless horticulture where the nutrition is supplied through the water. Since CP don't need little or none...

It should regrow roots, keep the humidity high and some shade until you see some active growth then start hardening the plant.

It is worth the effort growing sarra from seeds, you get better understanding of the genus and can get odd sport which is worthly of been a cultiver.
I have grown most of my sarra from seeds.

Sarracenia can take 5 years to mature, sometime longer. They only double their size per year without fertilzer.

Nepenthes have seperate sex and they do not change. You need a male plant and female plant to get seeds. The bad new is only about 30% of plants in cultivation are female.

He squirts a little into each pitcher. The conceration is so low it won't even burn sphagnum moss.

Sorry hear both of you have lost your heli. With fertilizer use a 1 in 10 dilution. Mike (ACPS member) uses a 10% solution of Manutec fertilizer on his swamp pitchers and keep winning the monthly...
