Haha.... mine is under 39 watts 4 tubes T5HO for 12 hours:P
LL condition is 30 degrees.
RH is atleast 80%.
You are right, RH and temp is the most important*biggrin2*

The media from YG is too wet, so it rot. You have to change the media.

Then you have to fix up a small cool green house at your garden.
Use evapourating and large exhaust fan to cool down during the day.
Use an potable aircon to cool it at night.

If you do want to grow heli, try to grow it in your bed room which have aircon.
Grow it inside a Covered tank with false bottom reservoir and fan. The water of the reservoir will keep your heli root...

When you water, the perlite will flow to the top and all the peat will move into the bottom. In long term, the bottom will be too compact and wet. So the risk of rotting will increase. Our humidity...

Cephs dont need domancy, unless you are going to flower it. Even if you got the seeds, it is very hard to germinate in our asia tempreture. If your bed room is airconed, just sleep with it. High day...

The heli dies because of the heat to the root crown. Heli roots cant withstand heat for prolong period. You may grow it for a short period then suddenly the whole plant die.

just plant it in peat alone is too wet. Try to repot it, remove all the rotten part, save the green.

Just leave it as it is. The small plantlet root is too easy to break. Also, your media seem to be on the too wet side.

Seem like you bought it from Singapore. There are few issue if you do not seperate them. First rot will start from the root. Second, it will go into dorment, this will only effect petiolaris.

You can grow it this way for a while. But, once it all reach adult, it will quickly die one by one becouse of the rotting roots*biggrin2*

It may have go into doment cos the condition may not suitable to it. Falconeri dont like wet feet, but love high humid. Do let me know if this one dont make it*biggrin2*
