Cut 1/2 leaf, bag it with plastic bag, put it in to shade and cool place, to help it root more easy you should potting it in a good draining media. That all.

The first one is hybird between spectabilis x ventricosa, however it still a small plant.
The second one if pure gracilis.

I get my first Capensis last years and it still alive now. I grow them without any problem at all. Here is a pics of it. Not very big with who grow in intermedia condition. I just cover them...

I know there is some automated watering system that only water when the pot is starter to dry. Pure sphagnum moss can cause rotting easy, so the secret can be how they watering their plants.
